The After Y2K QuickPoll |
Are you going to Microsoft's Soul Sucking Booth tomorrow?
- No, my soul's been sucked enough by them over the years.
- Absolutely! My soul hasn't been sucked nearly enough by them over the years.
- I'm not sure yet... if the MS Booth Admin says so, then it must be OK, but there is something creepy about the whole thing.
- I'd love to, but I don't have Shockwave :-(

That's right folks, tomorrow's cartoon will be in Shockwave (half of the audience cheers, the other half groans). When am I going to release a Flash-only cartoon, so the Linux-only geeks can enjoy the fun?... as soon as I can get my Flash skills up to the level of my Shockwave skills. In the meantime, I'll have an alternative comic for those without SW... maybe even a ~shutter~ animated gif (screams of horror from the back of the audience). ;-)
I'm always on the lookout for advertisers or sponsors of After Y2K!... I have great rates, and an exceptionally great audience! Email me for details!

The demand for Abacus World Expo t-shirts has been phenomenal! I'm printing another run (this time in two colours). Please preorder now to reserve yours, as they are selling quickly. They should be shipping in about a week. |

After Y2K is a frightfully funny look at what might happen if the Millennium Bug bites hard! Created by Nitrozac, it follows the hapless exploits of a perhaps-slightly-over-paranoid geek as he and his friends seek to come to terms with the legacy of careless coding. The setting: the days and months after January 1st, 2000... all computers, high technology, and most electricity is gone... civilization as Geeks know it has collapsed!
